Welcome to the Official Volunteer Website of the 2023 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship!

On behalf of The Tampa Bay Sports Commission, thank you for your interest in becoming a Community Ambassador for the 2023 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship being hosted at Amalie Arena on December 14 & 17, 2023.  The goals of our Ambassador program are to generate an enthusiastic and warm welcome to guests visiting the area, provide information to visitors and contribute to the general atmosphere of excitement surrounding the championship.  We are seeking hard working and enthusiastic individuals to lend their time, talent and knowledge to this prestigious event!

IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER DETAILS:

1.  AVAILABILITY:  All community ambassador opportunities will take place between December 12 - 17 at official hotels downtown, and other event venues. Detailed descriptions for each shift can be viewed by clicking the "?" icon next to those positions listed on the following pages.

2.  REQUIREMENTS:  ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. Please note, some roles will require individuals to stand and move around for the duration of each shift.

3.  TRAINING: Community Ambassadors will receive an email with important training materials (including specific information about the event, their positions, and other important instructions) in advance of shifts. These materials should be reviewed in detail prior to your shift. Additional training will be provided after shift check-in on the day of the event. 

4.  UNIFORM:  Community Ambassadors will receive uniforms prior to their shift (details to be provided). The uniform should be worn during all shifts with clean and well-maintained black or khaki long pants or shorts and comfortable shoes. 

5. VOLUNTEER PERKS: Community Ambassadors will receive an official shirt and jacket of the 2023 NCAA DI Women's Volleyball Championship. Food and snacks will not be provided unless working an extended shift. Complimentary parking will be provided, with further details and instructions to be included in training packet.
